markj99 visited on 28th Jul 2015 - their rating: Cond: 2 Amb: 3 Access: 3 I was disappointed by the scant remains of Achlochan Broch. Only diehard broch fans need to visit this much reduced site.

Broch in Highlands

Not much remains of this broch, although the circular plan is clear and there is still some coursed stonework. The broch appears to have been robbed for the building of cottages etc.

As with all brochs this one is in a fine location with superb views. Copyright Russel Wills and licensed for reuse under this Creative Commons Licence.
