St Piran's Well
St Piran's Well submitted by lucasn : St Piran's Well, Perranarworthal. Go up the hill to the right of the Norway Inn when looking at the pub from the main road. At the top of the hill, go right and walk a few feet until a brown sign marks the path down. From there, it's a walk down some steps to the bottom of the garden of a house called Bryher to the holy well. (Vote or comment on this photo)

Hi
I agree it's a truly beautiful spot - but have no idea on how good the water is. it certainly tastes clean!
i remember a tiny church nearby too - what is the name of it? it was a converted cattle shed if i remember correctly ....

I regularly drink water from St Pirans well as I live in a campervan and it is one of my main water sources. Can some one verify that the water is safe to drink? I have been drinking it for some time but am afraid it may be contaminated from agricultural chemicals used in any feilds up hill from it. I love collecting water from there, it is a truly wonderful experience and it is a such a beautiful sacred spot.
