Just to the southeast are several boulders, three obvious large stones, with a couple more not so obvious. Is it the remains of an ancient burial chamber? Or on later thinking, another little circle?

Fridd Wanc submitted by TimPrevett : Remains of a round barrow not far from Circle 275; see main entry for details. (Vote or comment on this photo)
A round barrow on the east side of the path across from Circle 275. A substantial mound is still visible, with some possibly associated boulders on the south east arc.

Unfortunately, a telegraph pole is planted firmly within the top of the barrow, which rather detracts from the otherwise beautiful and megalithicially rich surroundings.

Link to Coflein coflein.gov.uk/en/site/303049/ which suggests that "Immediately E of the mound are 5 small earthfast stones which may be the remains of a circle about 20ft diameter."
