The remains can be seen fairly well from the road, and are a large area of lumpy bumpy ground, with various tree covering. In a couple of places can be seen large stone slabs sticking out of the ground, which look to be the remains of at least two separate chambers.
When I visited in 2004, parking nearby was OK and I walked back to the field with the barrow. Although there is a footpath through this field, it had been divided into 3 bits with those modern electrical tape fences, with sheep, cows and horses in various bits. The barrow was in the part furthest from the footpath, so I didn’t go in. Instead I walked further back down the lane to a gated entrance at the right corner of the field. There were 3 horses in this part, and they took a lot of interest in my presence, so I kept out.
Note: This tomb is located on private land but can be seen from the road.
