in 1960 the farmer started to level the land at the 40 metre diameter and 7 metres high Tossen Keller tumulus. These successive operations raised the concern of Prehistoric Antiquities which lead to excavation and total removal of the site in about 1964.
From http://ville-penvenan.com/loisir-culture/patrimoine/tumulus
"An imposing mound of about ten meters in height, covered with ferns and gorse, a privileged refuge for rabbits and foxes", the Tossen Keler moundwas described at the end of the 19th century. It was located on an agricultural plot of Penvénan not far from the Kergreis farm in the south of the municipality bordering Camlez (plot C656 of the cadastre of 1834).
After excavations in 1964, the stones from the Tumulus belt were installed on the quays of Tréguier. In June 2018, they returned to their home town on the site of the chapel of Saint Gonval."
