Sukhothai is the former capital of the Sukhothai kingdom in the 13th and 14th centuries, situated in Central Thailand. It is located near the modern city of Sukhothai, capital of the province with the same name.
There are multiple areas with ruined temples and plenty of Buddha statues of different sizes
It is a World Heritage listed site
