Life is worth living even though it may be meaningless and without purpose - here's why! "Life is pointless" - "Existence is futile". Ever heard such statements? Analyze them, and you will find that they are often made by people who feel the meaninglessness of their own life. They remind themselves of it, thinking that this way they give themselves a good excuse not to try hard and live up to their full potential. such people should set an example for others.

With their attitude and lack of motivation they influence the less self-aware part of society - mislead them to think that life might be pointless and futile. Leaving the world, a worse place than when you came along is not the greatest legacy to your loved ones!

Sometimes it seems like life is pointless. But if we take a closer look, it turns out that even without meaning life still has value per see! We are biological beings whose lives are deeply tied to evolution; every one of us is a part of nature, each with his own unique way of experiencing and living reality (and sharing this experience with anyone else who cares to listen or read).

We can also look at life from a different perspective: imagine that there is no meaning in life as we know it - but what about the universe? Is it not possible that existence has some kind of meaning at all levels? Why not believe in reincarnation and karma, for example? If you do, then happy moments will be rewarded while suffering times will be balanced out by good luck later on, so don't give up yet!

How to be happy in your own skin

Do you feel like your life is a constant struggle? We all go through episodes of misery... But if this is your everyday condition, then something needs to be taken care of!

First of all, you need to find out what's the cause of your suffering and what are its sources. It might be the job you do, or someone close to you, or maybe it's just the feeling that time goes by without any progress in life. The general advice would be: stop doing things that make you unhappy!

Maybe this is one step too far for now as some unpleasant experiences can't be avoided (like having debts which you have to pay back), but if there is anything that can be changed while staying within ethical restrictions, then why not give it a shot?

After getting rid of sources of pain, the only thing left to do is to take pleasure in life. Go out and have fun sometimes! Read books that make you reflect on your experiences as well as those which simply entertain. Listen to music and sing, dance... whatever feels good!

As long as nothing dangerous happens (like driving a car or operating heavy machinery), there's no reason not to enjoy doing things that feel good. Once you get into this habit, you will become automatically motivated - because now there are no reasons for not doing so anymore!

Of course, if taking care of yourself turns out to be too difficult without external help, then don't forget about a professional who can provide counselling and advice on how to change your life for the better!

So, what's next?

You have a glimpse of the possible (and impossible) sources of happiness and unhappiness. There are still many other aspects which make or break our daily experience - it's just up to you whether you accept them as givens in your life, or do something about them! It's true that life is unfair and not everyone gets all that they want - but if this happens to you, then it means that there should be a lesson learned from it so that similar situations are prevented later on. Otherwise, suffering will follow suit... It would be naive to think that pain can always be avoided without losing anything in return; however, some gain is usually achieved through these negative experiences. Consider them as a test of your character: if you pass it, then the next time round there will be less disappointment!

The meaning of life

Live in accordance with your values: what do you consider good and bad? What motivates you to act one way or another? It's ok not to have clear answers for all these questions right away - but if your responses are inconsistent (i.e., "I don't feel like going to work today because I'm tired and I would rather stay at home" vs. "I should go to work every day because otherwise my boss won't pay me"), then it means that something has to be done about it. Then you no longer thinks that life is pointless.
