As well as the three prize winners in each competition we also have several Highly Commended photos that you can enjoy. If you have a favourite photo like one of these above you can try https://www.photowall.co.uk/ - here you can create custom wallpapers and prints from your own images. Pro Tip: To get a professional and eye-catching look for your product and model photography, it's best to choose a Clipping Path Service for images & photos.

Thanks as always to everyone who voted and entered the recent competitions, and of course to Peter Boyle (PAB) for organising the competition. Just as a recap, all the images submitted to the Megalithic Portal have a chance to win by being voted on by you, the Megalithic Portal visitors and contributors.

PLEASE VOTE!

There is still time to vote in the next photo competition. You can browse and choose photos to vote for in our Photo Gallery. See the drop down box near the top to select photos from recent months, then click "Update". You are very welcome to browse back further to previous years and vote on any photos you like at any time. We will be announcing the results of the next competitions soon.

Please do vote and comment on any photos that particularly catch your eye. You can score photos for visual or archaeological merit or for any other reason you like. A vote from any person will start off the scoring. You are allowed to vote for each of your own photos once if you would like to put them forward. Equally you do not have to have your photos rated or voted on if you don't want to. Please contact Andy B via the 'Contact Editor' link if you do not want to take part.

More details on our photo competitions are here.

To be eligible for the competition, photos must be submitted to our gallery and in some way feature or be connected to an ancient site up to 1000CE/AD, or 'pre-Columbian' age in the Americas, or one the other site types that we include.

Ancient site photos must be submitted by searching for the relevant 'site page' (use the search box at top left and press enter, and also try the Google search option). Once you have found the site page, then click on the 'Submit an Image' link in the top right corner of the page.

Ancient site photos are only eligible if they are attached to a 'site page'. (ie they appear with a yellow highlighted link on the left hand side with a link to an information page) If we don't have a site page then you need to add one for your site here. You can do this before or after submitting the photo. Please add a good description as this will make your photo more attractive to voters.

So please carry on submitting your photos to our competitions and also voting on your favourites in our extensive photo gallery.

* Although we say 'photos' we also include other types of image relevant to our subject such as diagrams, paintings and other artwork that you have created.
