Take the A91 west from Auchtermuchty, and turn into the village off the main road. Kirk Wynd is just down the main street on the left (easily spotted due to the presence of the Kirk...) and the stone stands by the right hand pillar of the entrance to the kirkyard. The west face of the stone has incised on it a divided mirror case over a deer's head. This is somewhat eroded but still distinct.
