    From the aricle A Spectrum of Seers, The Lady of Lawers prophecied that " A strange heir will come to Balloch when the boar's stone at Fearnan topples over". So far all her predictions except the last have come to pass. The Fearnan Boar Stone lies in the front garden of Hawthorn Cottage in the village of Fearnan adjacent to the dwelling 'Clach an Tuirc' on the road to Fortingall and Glen Lyon. The size and location of this very large boulder would make it unlikely that the prophecy would come true, but who knows?
