I am old enough to remember visiting Stonehenge when you had to park beside the road and climb the fence for entry, no car-park or entry fees then. These days I try to find the more remote Circles for my Summer Solstice celebrations, instead of battling through crowds, although I encourage the current interest in my shared megalithomania.
