Description
Travelling through Trelech but sadly only my phone with me to get a picture of these lovely stones. They are in a 12 metre alignment with a possibly fourth stone being robbed away or destroyed in the late 18th century. The stones are of a conglomerate rock that's known as pudding stone. All the stones lean at different angles with the tallest being over 4 metres in height. As with many stone alignments, the purpose or symbolism of the row is unknown. They may have formed part of a much larger ritual area that has either been destroyed or not yet been identified.
