The remaining mound of Cubbie Roo's Burden, a chambered cairn, as viewed from the roadside. The purpose of my visit to Orkney was to recce most of the major sites, but in true megarak spirit, I had to look at or at least photo any 'lesser' monuments I passed. This was one of them.

Left the telegraph pole in as a point of reference. Looking at the horizon there appear another two lumps. From CANMORE I believe I can ID the right hand lump as Shingly Hill cairn HY 4382 2820.
