Description
One of my petroglyph blanket art drawings. All the writing is common the length of the Americas and easily read.
Left to right:
Turtle Clan/Star Clan, Walks in the Hills, Walks between the Hills, Hills Clan, Climbs Plateaus and Cliffs, Blanket of One who Holds Important Stuff, Night Stars (Star Clan), Surf (on the Shore) Clan, Harvests Clams/Mussels and Shells (usually Fishermen and Net Makers), Cliffs Clan, Fence Maker, Shell Clan. Small dots are foot prints. Much of the lifestyle and activities of the People were recorded in their clothes and tattoos.
It's not surprising to see many of the same inscriptions in rock art since they were even common on clothing and useful items.
