Description
Temple of Viracocha, Raqchi, Peru.
This section of temple wall shows the excellence of masonry used for the lower sections of the huge walls.
As in other locations where Inca structures have survived many earthquakes which have destroyed later buildings or additions, the walls have a wonderful lack of symmetry which allows for the frequent earth tremors.
