Description
View towards the entrance in the SE. Well preserved extended dolmen chamber situated inside significant remains of its round barrow. It is oriented appr. NW-SE. Clear size is appr. 2,5m by 1,2m. The south-east facing entrance is visible as a gap between orthostat N2 (counting from the west) and the smaller SE narrow side orthostat. The chamber is exactly in the same state as described and drawn by Schoknecht and Schwieger for Atlas der Megalithgräber [1]. Strangely the site sign from 2005 states the groundplan was not clarified until an examination in 1987. I assume it has been partly mixed up with nearby site Freidorf I (Sprockhoff 437.
