Looking from the grid ref given for Rhyd Wen Fach, towards the summit of Fan Foel. Twr-y-Fan Foel to the left. Since returning I noticed the RCAHM gives a ref of SN 8223 2312, a further 50 metres to the north of where I was looking, which would have been slightly flatter, but more peaty and eroded ground.
