NM 922 363, Achnacree. This chambered cairn has got to be seen to be believed, like most cairns it as been robbed out with two of the chambered capstones laying on the outside to the south east with most of the spoil laying on the west side of the cairn and contributing to half its size again. This must have been a very large and impressive monument before the tomb robbers got their hand on it.

If you ever visit this site you will notice that the cairn itself is on its own platform raised of 3-4 feet of the soft Scottish peat field, this monument must of taken a phenomenal amount of man hours and origination to complete.
