Description
The Statuette of Amasya or the Hittite Storm God Tesup, a figurine cast in Bronze it was found in a tumulus to the southeast of Doğantepe in 1962.
The figurine is missing its arms and legs and some other parts. It dates from the Hittite period 1450-1200BC.
There are two similar golden figurines in the British Museum and the Louvre.
This figurine is on display in Amasya Museum, Turkey.
