Grid Ref: SH 511 383

A forlorn little burial chamber, near the railway line east of Criccieth.
The slipped capstone has a notch in it. There seems to be a significant number of smaller stones around the base of the rocks; almost as if it could've been the remains of a cairn?!
The stone that still supports the capstone appears to be a different rock type from the rest, like a coarse sandstone

Can anyone tell me what the lithology of the area is, or where I can find it out. Thank you it is much appreciated.
