Drew - just browsing though your 2010 postings for ideas about visits in 2011: I hadn't really taken these in when you posted them. What an amazing place...thanks for these!

A clay replica of these stones is to be seen outside Kirkudbright Town Museum. I have recently seen the replicas but not the original, which I am told may be beneath a thin layer of turf for its protection.
