Gaarzer Hof Grossdolmen

Description
A restored 'Grossdolmen' in the area of Rerik at the Baltic Sea.
The restoration took place in 1967.
Before the chamber was enclosed in the remains of a barrow,
which is now lowered considerably.
The chamber is build of six uprights on the north, east and west side.
A passage is set at the south side.
Two capstones are on the chamber, a bigger one north and
a smaller, now tilted, on the south part.
The capstones of the passage are missing.
The chamber was kerbed with a rectangular enclosure, of which
we see eight stones in a row at the passage's end.
Chamber's size is 5m x 1,2-1,9m, height 1,6m.
