Illustration of The Carausius Stone or grave-slab in St Tudclud's church. It dates from the 5th century and recalls Crair or Caron, a 3rd century king. The stone originally stood in a field close to the church, but it was brought into the church when it's importance became clear. It has a Greek chi rho cross and a Latin inscription carved on it.
