The raw material from where all your megaliths flow!! Photographed during the April 2010 lava eruption of the Eyjafjallajökull volcano to the east of this site. I was lucky enough to spend an hour circling over the lava fountains in a light plane with an Icelandic farmer and two others before the ash eruptions occurred.
