I was at this site the other day, this photo looks like it depicts the interior of New Close Coppice, a few hundred metres southeast of the "cairn" site (which is a Bronze Age enclosure and medieval dew pond according to English Heritage's scheduling).

Agree, Jim. Going through video and photos from lockdown walks, that Coppice is very striking with its towering beech trees.
