I've passed it so many times I thought I should actually stop and have a look at the remains of Broad Stone Circle (& Sarsen) on the A35.
And I cleaned it up only a tiny bit, which seems to be the done thing.
The layby is easy to find, shortly after the Nine Stones Circle but the A35 is a deathtrap so drive carefully

Literally Matt- there was a really hideous smash when I last visited the 9 stones autumn 2008. Put a real downer on a good days meg hunting. Maybe when they've finished at stonehenge they can bury this one in a tunnel too and the broad stone can stand tall, or rather, broad and proud.
