Here's a picture of the supposed 2 stones of Gibbet Moor North North located about 400m norht of the Gibbet moor North four poster.

It wouldn't surprise me if there's still plenty to find out in the heather still......

Ahhhh. Goodun Stu! Is it difficult to find? I am thinking of trying to get to this one maybe in Feb or March next year. Have you found the other Gibbet Moor circle? How do they stand in relation from, say, Hob Hurst's House? Cheers, Tim.

Hey up, yes I've done quite a lot of wondering about up there. Can't say I get what the southern circle's about tho'..... From Hob's it's around 3km to the furthest four-poster....which is alot easier to find than Gibbet North proper, 10m off the main path that runs across the moor. I'd guess at SK284714....in an area full of clearance banks. Drop us a line and I'll dig out the map refs and directions to loads of interesting bits.....nice one stu.

When we went to find Gibbet Moor North we luckily had a GPS with us as even when we were a few metres from it, we still couldn't see it until we were actually in it! The whole area is very boggy. If you go from the Park Gate / Hob Hurst's House side of the moor it is a long walk but not too bad from the northern side off the A619.
