Description
This Standing Stone on top of Cothill is considered to be a Class 1 Pictish stone by Elizabeth Alexander in her "Pictish Guide". The OS label it a symbol stone. The East side has a clear Pictish serpent but little other carving is visible.
It is easily reached from the track on the east side of Birchfold. NJ 64020235
