Description
The ploughed-down "Pentridge 3" long barrow, unusually well indicated by shadows from the very low winter sun. The much-reduced mound is in the field, between the pile on the left and the horse on the right. In the distance is the Pentridge 2 long barrow (tree-covered) and the Pentridge 1 long barrow (pointing down the hillslope, its right-hand side illuminated). The tree-covered hill on the right is Penbury Knoll, site of a small iron-age camp.
