The Miletus Tell (or Höyük) where the Arzawa vassals of the Hittites started the town of Millawanda by the middle of the 2nd millennium BCE. there is now a Turkish fortress and the theatre on it. Mycenaean Greeks grabbed the area around 1400 BCE.
