Southern side of the barrow, showing the boundary fence and pine trunks sprouting from the mound. To the right of the fence is Burley parish (and the traditional edge of the New Forest) and to the left is Ringwood parish. I'm not sure what purpose the fence serves, as there is a path through a gap in the foreground, and an east-west road on the far side.
