Description
Nodena Head Effigy Pot. Considered one of the finest examples of Nodena ceramics. The depiction may be of a dead warrior. Difficult to say if the markings are a realistic depiction of tattooing, paint, or scarification, or perhaps only symbolic. Note the bird decoration around one eye of the figure.
