Entrance for sacrificial animals behind the christian facade. The temple started out as a Temple of Baal and then was rebuilt as a Temple of Jupiter-Sol. From about 326 Ce it then progressively became a Greek Catholic church. It now has a false facade and only three column bases are visible. There is an inscription for Emperor Caius Caligula and three niches for Baal statues.

This temple is a little off the beaten path where tourists normally don't go in Syria.
