Definitely beat the diabolical Castlerigg Summer Solstice experienced this year.
The atmosphere (SH) as you can imagine was electric!! 8-)

Thanks Horatio... I'd never been to Winter Solstice, though a friend and I nearly made it one year, but I did go to several Summer ones. Was always convinced that sunset was the time to witness the Winter one, and Stone 16 would have played a part in this. So glad you enjoyed it. I used to love the drumming. The torch-led procession in the small hours was great back in the day. Happy Solstice/Yule/Christmas to everyone.
