You can just make out the sun god (Šimige?) at the back of Chamber 2.

Other examples of the winged sun symbol can be found at Yalburt and a splendid one at Kayseri Museum.

It is also remarkable that King Suppiluliuma II. appears to be holding an ankh or cross symbol in his hands.

I suspect this might not be Šuppiluliuma, but the god Šimige. See this photo from Yazılıkaya.

Identified by the double winged sun positioned over his head, he holds a curved rod in his left hand, and in his right-as befits a giver of life-a somewhat modified version of the Egyptian ankh-the emblem of life."
