The Cuckoo Stone, and the shadow of one who stood very close to it about 3pm on 5th December!

Looking towards Durrington Walls here, if I'm not mistaken.

(The round indentation in the south western end of the stone is just visible behind the grass bottom left).

The Cuckoo Stone, and the shadow of one who stood very close to it about 3pm on 5th December! Looking towards Durrington Walls here, if I'm not mistaken. (The round indentation in the south western end of the stone is just visible behind the grass bottom left).

Is there evidence that this once stood upright? The v shown on top would be the direction of interest if it was vertical. I assume that it pointed to Stonehenge itself. Is Cuckoo corruption of Cuckold ?
