Description
This well was thought to cure sore eyes and it was customary to leave a pin or coin as thanks. Despite the well's picturesque location it is now dry with it’s water piped away to a nearby farm. In St Breward, at a bend in the road by the school, a lane lined with several houses leads to the right and down the hill. At the end of the lane between 2 houses is a gate and once through this the path plunges down into a wooded valley. St Brewards Well is nearly at the bottom on your left hand side.
