Modern stone monument at the foot of the path to Carn Goch, near the car park. Researching it now, I see it's a very recent memorial to the first Plaid Cymru MP Gwynfor Evans, erected in July 2006. See the bottom of the main site page for Carn Goch (link top left) for more details.
