It's a great photo but surely the front lighting is the light from a will-o'-the-wisp!

A year since you posted your comment Bladup! Only a blink of an eye in historical terms though lol. I used a tripod to get a long exposure - the front lighting was from a torch waved over the stones & the grass. I'm enjoying your photos very much too.

And i still love your photo as much, Even though you've ruined the mystery now ;0) and Thank you, I'll be visiting The Den (and around Avebury in general) around the Solstice, Which i'm excited about as i haven't been for years now
