Description
This stone is lying on the ground by the 2 upright ones of Carneddau Egryn. I was wondering what made that distinctive mark.

I think it is just erosion due to weathering or glaciation. I kept my eyes open this week while walking the area here, and spotted similar marks on stones. The glaciers that left the area 10000 years ago have made all sorts of interesting marks on the stones left behind.
