George Nash found a double edged flint knife here in 2011. The so called capstone I have estimated to be no more than 48 tons. Nevertheless massive and if a capstone more than 3 times the weight of the average West Wales capstone.

PP, the last time I tried to get in here some very aggressive looking bullocks were guarding it. You're obviously a braver man than I!

As the field is full of boulders, it has to be grazed. Grass was very long, all cattle in other fields. I had long chat with a farmer cutting silage bales, probably same chap as Ann T met 6 years ago. As long as visitors park sensibly ie more than half a mile away, they are amenable to people looking at the site.
