Description
Soapstone Prairie Natural Area
This is the Lindenmeier Site, which is on the list of National Historic Places. It's a world famous archaeological landmark. They have found all sorts of evidence of early Native Americans, including spears, rock art, and other items. It is believed to be a large gathering and trading site. Wolly Mammoths, Saber-toothed Cats, Prehistoric Bison, and Dire Wolves have all been found here. The strangest thing about it is that they have never found any human remains. Extremely odd if you ask me, and very surprising in the archaeology world..
