Description
Recorded by Peter Ryder as Blanchland 3, this is "(a) broad rectangular slab of coarse-grained buff sandstone, with an incised design. In the centre of a slab is a horn and baldric, the loop of the baldric enclosing a plain shield; to the right is a large arrow and to the left a sword. At the top and bottom of the slab are the letters ‘T’ and ‘E’. This is probably another late medieval slab. Perhaps fifteenth or early sixteenth century."
