Description
Distance slab with the distance unusually left blank, possibly to be completed at a later date. Accession no. GLAHM:F.11. The inscription reads: IMP.C.T.AE.HADRIANO.ANTONINO.AVG.PIO.P.P.VEX.LEG.XX.V.V. FEC.P., which translates as: "For the Emperor Caesar Titus Aelius Hadrianus Antonius Augustus Pius, Father of his Country, a detachment of the Twentieth Valient and Victorius Legion, built … feet". Found near Dunochter in West Dunbartonshire and given to the museum in 1699. Also recorded as Canmore 43291
