looks a lovely spot, looks a lovely stone (you know what type of rock?) I'd be concerned if I saw owt like that round me, mostly spotted dolerite. Be nice to see something different now and then...trip to Cornwall later in the year so will different stuff there. Nice pics Anne

Thanks for the compliment, Horatio. It was a lovely spot. Canmore says the stone is grey Silurian sandstone. You mention you'd be concerned if you say something like this round you - I'm intrigued; can you say why? Enjoy your trip to Cornwall. Look forward to seeing your photos when you can post them!
