This small, isolated grave marker appears to match the location of Canmore ID NY 2504 7528, said to mark the location of Fair Helen's Thorn where her tragedy took place. The thorn tree was washed away in a flood in July 1932. The graveslab sits in a small, neat, rectangular clearing between the footpath and Kirtle Water.
