This is Cairnholy II. I did the picture from a photograph by Homer Sykes. It is done in coloured pencil.

Superb artwork! Coloured pencils are not easy to work with, yet you have managed beautifully. The texture of the stones, the lichen, the grass and the wonderful sky have been handled so very well. I gave it a score of 10. What a pity that no one else who has looked at this picture has bothered to vote it a score at all.

Totally agree Thorgirm, it caught my eye as soon as I saw the thumbnail, its quite beautiful, and captures the essence of the place. I love it!
