This Pictish Bull dates from the 7th to 8th century and was found near Burghead, Moray, Inverness-shire during rampart quarrying arouind 1809. For more information see Canmore 319201.  This stone is displayed in 'Glimpses of the Sacred' in the basement of the Tower.  Submitted with the kind permission of National Museums of Scotland.
