Description
This is the stone referenced 'Craven Hall Hill 03' on ERA and believed to be 391 in 'Prehistoric Rock Art of the West Riding' (PRAoWR).
Despite being a scheduled monument, this didn't prevent the stone removed / moved circa 2011, whilst shooting range was being renovated. The land managers weren't aware it was a scheduled monument.
Although there is some doubt as to whether this is actually the correct stone, it seems most likely from the evidence gathered. All of the depressions in this image are likely to be caused by recent damage or are bullets impacts.
