The Summstein ("Humming Stone") is a modern stone sculpture situated in Dortmund-Berghofen (North Rhine-Westphalia/Germany).
Stones with similar holes have been discovered in pre-Christian catacombs on Malta. They were probably used for healing and meditation.

"The visitor has to put the head into one of the two holes of the stone.
The person has to breath out with a humming tone. The sound waves are reflected by the stone and are supposed to be felt as vibrations within the body of the visitor."
